How The Engine Works

When you scan a barcode, we first query the massive Open Food Facts database—a global, crowdsourced repository. If it exists, we instantly pull its exact ingredients, nutritional profile, and eco-footprint.
2. AI Synthesis
If the product is missing, our app seamlessly falls back to a multi-modal AI router powered by Google Gemini, Meta Llama, and NVIDIA Nemotron. It cascades through these models to read packaging images and synthesize data in real-time.
