Critical Warning

This application is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does NOT guarantee that any food product is safe for you to consume. Cross-contamination in manufacturing facilities is always possible. Always read the physical label on the product and consult with a healthcare professional if you have severe allergies or medical conditions.

2. AI & Data Limitations

UnwrapTruth synthesizes data using the open-source Open Food Facts database and Google, Meta & NVIDIA's AI models.

  • Accuracy Not Guaranteed: AI can hallucinate. Crowdsourced databases contain errors. Formulations change. We make no warranties regarding accuracy.

  • Third-Party Liability: We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services our app relies upon.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the application only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the application.

  • Use the application to scan explicit, illegal, or non-food items for malicious intent.

  • Overload our servers or APIs with automated requests.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnwrapTruth and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the application; or (c) any health issues or allergic reactions resulting from consuming products scanned using the application.
